To get clear: I’m perhaps not anti-counseling. In fact, I’m a large fan of specific counseling. It’s matrimony counseling I’m talking about.
One obvious challenge with it (aside from what Dr. Diamond had written) is the fact that most husbands hate it. And just why wouldn’t they? In many cases, the girlfriend enjoys dragged the husband to counseling—where he’s at a distinct disadvantage since women are a lot more spoken than men are.
